I wonder what she smelled like. I wonder how her hugs would feel. What was her favorite food? Color? Flower? What would she think of today's technology? Most of all, what would she think of me? What advice would I receive? What would my life have been like if she had lived? What would she think of my kids? What nicknames would she have given them? What would she think of her beautiful great-grandchildren? These are some of the things I will never know, and can only very painfully try to guess. Did she believe in God? What were the things she got enjoyment from? What was her favorite toy as a child? Her memories of being a child, teen, moving from place to place, giving birth...
